Summer Library Program is coming in June! Youngsters can take part in reading incentive programs and receive great prizes all summer long! We will also have fantastic programs each Thursday at 4:30 p.m. including musician Duke Otherwise and magician The Amazing Schu. We'll also have art, a program on caves, yoga for kids, and more!

A History of Lead and Zinc Mining in Wisconsin, June 25 at 6:00 p.m.
The LaValle Public Library will begin its UW Lecture Series with a look at the history of lead and zinc mining in southwest Wisconsin.
Join Dr. Norlene Emerson for Upper Mississippi Valley Lead-Zinc Mining as she discusses its significant role in Wisconsin’s history as the sight of one of the earliest mineral rushes in the U.S. It ultimately led to Wisconsin becoming a state in 1848. UW Lecture Series: American Composers
Join us July 2nd at 6:00 p.m. for American Composers, a look at composers such as Gershwin, Berlin, Kern, and Porter.
